반결정 열가소성 중합체이며 미끄럼 방지 특성과 내마모성과 절연 효과가 좋다. 주로 사출성형에서 사용된다. PBT에 대한 코팅의 점착은 플라즈마 처리에 의해 크게 향상시킬 수 있다.

Semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer featuring good sliding and abrasion resitance and good isolation effect. Mainly used in injection moulding. The adhesion of coatings on PBT can be substantially improved by plasma treatment.
