강성도, 강도, 치수 안정성이 높은 반결정성 열가소성 중합체. 주로 사출성형에서 사용된다. POM에 대한 대다수 코팅의 점착력이 떨어지며, 플라즈마 처리를 이용해 점착력을 크게 개선할 수 있다.

Semi-crysrtalline thermoplastic polymer featuring high stiffness, strength and dimensional stability. Mainly used in injection moulding. Bad adhesion of most coatings on POM, which can be substantially improved by plasma treatment.
